Our group was created to meet other adoptive parents in the Sacramento area. We support each other at monthly meetings and online. We hold monthly activities for the whole family. We organize trainings to educate ourselves about the issues inherent in adoption and in raising children who may have special needs. The group works as a network to help each other with ideas in childraising and in finding solutions to challenges we face.

East Bay Adoption is a group that meets monthly. We are a group of pre-adoptive and adoptive parents who want to get together for support. Each meeting is facilitated by a professional involved with adoption and starts out with an informative topic that leads to discussion.
This group is to get older mothers together for support and companionship and to discuss issues that arise from being a mother and an older mother. Right now it is mostly adoptive mothers who adopted in their 40's and 50's. All mothers are welcome.
